Motivation:
After attending and being an active part of WASPA meetings for the last 8 years I put my nomination forward with one main issue in mind: the sustainability of our business.
Most of you know me and how I conduct business. I believe that I can help with my experience around the world and SA specifically to ensure the longevity of our industry. I have always been driven to keep a clean market partnering with well-known and reliable companies to ensure this. We stand by on what we preach as we understand it’s the only way to do business and it’s part of our DNA.
I truly believe in the potential of mobile as an engine of economic growth in this dynamic region. I would like to actively collaborate with WASPA as part of the Board in its mission and contribute with all my experience and enthusiasm.

Biography:
I have been working in the South African VAS industry for the last 8 years. However, I bring a global view of the business as Telecoming is based in Europe, and we operate in over 25 countries. This has been key in bringing the highest standards to South Africa and to get prepared for coming risks before arriving in the region.
As Operations Manager, I’ve focused on precisely that: the sustainability of the business. Our global view has been key for that, starting from service quality to customer care. Our knowledge of the market and our commitment to good practices have allowed us to create and commercialize through mobile operators one of the most innovative products in the DCB industry, awarded in 2019 with the AfricaCom Best Innovation Award in entertainment.
Before entering this industry, I was part of the Spanish Embassy, in charge of technological partnerships between South Africa and Spain.
Bachelor of Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid, I have completed the International Master Degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social responsibility. This background directly impacts my way of seeing the exciting industry in which we work.
