With over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, Sizo Nkosi currently serves as the Telco Carrier Relations Manager at Infobip, a global leader in cloud communications. In this role, he manages and grows strategic relationships with mobile network operators and service providers across the continent, giving him a broad and practical understanding of the mobile services ecosystem, regulatory frameworks, and the strategic imperatives that drive sustainable industry growth.
His professional journey has equipped him with the ability to navigate complex inter-operator relationships, negotiate high-impact agreements, and advocate for fair and transparent practices—values that resonate strongly with WASPA’s mission. He has led key partnerships across CPaaS, SaaS, SMS monetisation and A2P Omni-Channel Firewalls, Mobile Identity, RCS, and Mobile Payments throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, delivering fraud prevention, new revenue streams and expanding monetisation opportunities for telecom operators.
Sizo has worked closely with mobile network operators, service providers, and regulatory bodies, and he believes this experience positions him to contribute meaningfully to WASPA’s strategic direction. His contributions to the industry have been recognised through accolades such as being named in the ROCCO 100 in 2020 (ranked 48th globally).
