What’s Up With Apps Selling Your Data and Why You Should Care
Radio Interview with Lotus FM – The Weekend Liftoff
There has been a lot of controversy lately about the way consumer data is collected, managed and used. While much of the personal data discussions in the past years has focused on theft and compliance – the start of the year has been taken over by headlines around what it means when applications consumers have signed into suddenly change their terms and conditions.

Yet every time you interact with a company, they are likely recording that information and connecting it to you.
So, the question is: Are you aware of your data being collected and what are you doing to protect it?
Ilonka Badenhorst, General Manager at mobile application service regulator WASPA, speaks to The Weekend Liftoff team at Lotus FM to unpack this topic.
