Biography:
Ian Hollingum has been in the Industry since its inception in 2000. Initially launching and successfully running operations for the Finnish Telco, Sonera Zed in the UK Ian moved to South Africa in 2005 to head up Zed Mobile, South Africa. During this period Ian has gained in-depth knowledge and experience throughout a wide range and diverse territories in Africa. In January 2022 Ian joined Digital Virgo as South African Country Manager as well as overseeing English speaking territories throughout the African Continent.
Motivation:
The industry has seen many challenges over the years and Ian’s motivation on wanting to sit on the Board of WASPA is purely to assist in maintaining clean and ethical practices within the industry which in-turn will ensure longevity by instilling consumer confidence.
